| Mostly schools, barns and some houses. Some, like the Charles E. Nelson homestead, were lost in the Substation fire a couple of years ago. Sad. Many of these structures are roughly along highway US197 which runs south from The Dalles through Boyd, Dufur, and Tygh Valley and along highway US97 running south from Biggs through Wasco, Moro, Erskine, Grass Valley, and Shaniko. |
